John K is a truly inspired young man whose story both shocks and amazes us. At four years old, he witnessed the brutal murders of his entire family and the horrific genocide that claimed his home city of Kigali, Rwanda. He survived with a bullet in his leg and was left orphaned and homeless.
At 22 yrs of age, he is finally getting his long-denied education and is a rising star in jewelry design. His work is inspired by his strong walk of faith with his Savior, Jesus Christ. He creates some of the most colorful jewelry I have ever seen, using wood, shells, seed, beads and paper beads which he makes himself. I'm listing four of these tonight in his shop,
